Some of our favorite reading & writing tools :)

Reading Tools

Natural Reader

Instapaper
This is a save-to-offline tool, that also reformats whatever you are reading into a simple and beautiful style free of distractions. You can highlight and take notes, and share highlighted quotes with friends directly from the app. In the paid for version you can make little memes of your favorite quotes. It also has a speed read and a read aloud function!

Blinkest
Some might feel it’s a cheap shot to try and skim a book, but it is really good for books that you probably will never read, or if you are trying to decide whether to read it or not. Does blink summaries of books, chapter by chapter, both in text or audio form (Monthly subscription).

Sprint
This is really good if you just HAVE to read a chunk of text by a certain time and you just want to get it in your brain. You copy paste the text in and it delivers the text to your eye one word at a time at high speed. Not great for deep reading but good for getting through a text and getting an orientation of the piece.

This is great for practicing writing without editing, getting into the flow, journaling or getting thoughts out.

Omm writer
I LOVE this one, it is one of my all time favorites and I opt to pay for it because it is so simple and beautiful. It is a simple writing app that takes over your screen, provides you with a soothing backdrops, ambient sounds (headphones recommended) & custom keyboard sounds (squeeeee).
